Quality of questions

I have noted that many students did not really read the postings carefully. I noted that some answers are already available in the posting but students were still asking questions relating to them. Please read the posting first before you ask questions. If you don't understand the posting, then ask your questions in a way for clarification rather than getting your friends to repeat the answers that were already in the post.

I also noted some students did not bother to understand the postings or recall prior knowledge related to the postings. There were some basic questions which I am very surprised. I would appreciate that students would read up more from your previous subjects' notes before posting your questions in the blog. The questions that you ask will also reflect your ability and attitude. Please ask only appropriate questions.

From 29 September 2008 onwards, if the questions asked are too basic (which I would expect you to know from your previous subjects taught in the last 2 years), I will void those questions. This would mean that you have not participated in the blogs.
